More Good News

I recently returned from visits to Australia and England where I brought some of our key investors up to date. These trips resulted in additional investments in our company that will allow us to gear up to about 24 full-time staff over the next 12 months or so. We are currently actively seeking at least one more high-level programmer (see Opportunities).

Our team just gained two bright, highly motivated new members (see Team)

Matt Johnson is an AGI theorist, as well as an experienced programmer. Matt is working with me on various cognitive design improvements, including our system's knowledge representation. We expect him to make significant design contributions to the ongoing enhancement of our AGI.

In the few weeks that Chandra Barnett has been with us she has already tackled a comprehensive upgrade to our core engine that improves its modularity and scalability. Chandra is also very active in understanding, and contributing to, cognitive aspects of our project.

Given the staff and additional funding we are confident that we can develop our AGI technology to a point of significant practical utility over the next 18 months.
